- 1 pound shrimp Fresh
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 onions small, chopped
- 3 tomatoes peeled, chopped,, 1* lbs
- 1 teaspoon capers
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 green pepper cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 6 tablespoons lime juice
- cilantro cup Minced
Directions

1Peel shrimp, slit backs and remove veins.

2Refrigerate.

3Saute onion in 1 tablespoon oil and cook until tender, but not browned.

4Add tomatoes, capers, bay leaf, sugar and salt.

5Bring to boil; reduce heat.

6Cover and simmer 15 minutes.

7Add green peppers and cook 5 minutes longer.

8Heat 2 tablespoons oil in another skillet.

9Add cleaned shrimp.

10Cook over medium heat until pink.

11Sprinkle lime juice over shrimp.

12Add the sauce and heat 3-4
