  • 2 lb. beef short ribs
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 3 c. water
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • soy sauce

    Marinate beef short ribs in soy sauce overnight.

    Roll ribs in flour, salt and pepper.

    Brown in oil in heavy roaster.

    Add onion slices, water, vinegar and Worcestershire sauce.

    Simmer 4 hours. Add water, if necessary.

    Good with rice.
