- 200-300g taro (peeled)
- 2-3 Tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2-2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp dashi powder
- 2 tbsp mirin
Directions

1Put taro, sugar, soy sauce, dashi powder in a pan and combine well.

2Turn on the high heat and stir-fry until the liquid is gone and browned.

3Pour enough water to cover them, simmer with a lid over medium heat until the liquid is almost gone.

4Add mirin and stir to allow the flavor to blend, turn off the heat.

5Cover and steam for a while.
