  • Glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • Cake:
  • 2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Cheesecake Flavor Instant Pudding
  • 1-1/4 cups vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs

Directions

    Mix all of the ingredients for the glaze together well and set to the side.

    Preheat oven to 325F.

    Mix together apples, vanilla and cinnamon in a small bowl.

    Sift the flour, salt, baking soda together in a separate bowl.

    Beat the sugar, oil and eggs together in another bowl.

    Add the dry ingredients into the egg mixture a little at a time and slowly.

    Fold the apples into the batter.

    Grease a loaf pan and add the batter.

    Bake for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

    Allow the cake to cool completely then remove from pan.

    Drizzle the glaze over the top.
