  • 34 cup sugar
  • 14 cup cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 14 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

Directions

    Preheat oven to 325F.

    Grease and flour bouquet pans.

    In large bowl, sift together flour sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt.

    Add vanilla, water, oil and vinegar; ix well until batter is smooth.

    Pour batter into pans, dividing evenly.

    Bake at 325F for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.

    Cool 15 minutes; invert pan and cool completely.
