- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sour milk (or Buttermilk)
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups rhubarb, chopped
- cinnamon-sugar mixture, to sprinkle top of cake
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease 9x13 inch pan.

2Cream together both sugars and shortening.

3Add egg and mix together.

4Mix in ALL remaining ingredients and pour into prepared pan.

5Sprinkle with a little cinnamon and sugar.

6Bake for 35 minutes or until toothpic comes out clean.
