- 2 ounces 100 proof rye whiskey (Rittenhouse preferably)
- .75 ounces fresh squeezed lemon juice
- .5 ounces grade b maple syrup
- 2 sprigs mint
- 2 sprigs tarragon
- 18 drops peychaud's bitters
Directions

1place mint, tarragon maple syrup and lemon juice in cocktail shaker. lightly muddle the herbs

2add rye, then ice

3shake vigorously for 10-12 seconds

4double strain into rocks glass with ice

5add a layer of about 3 dashes peychaud's bitters on top
