Simple Tom Yum Pho

  • 1 as much as you can eat Pho (rice noodels)
  • 10 Shrimp (I used Black Tiger)
  • 5 stalks Green onions or scallions
  • 1/2 Red onion
  • 50 grams Bean sprouts
  • 1 Straw mushrooms (or brown or white mushrooms)
  • 500 ml Water
  • 1 tbsp Weipa
  • 1/2 stalk Lemon grass (or lemon juice)
  • 1 tsp Doubanjiang
  • 2 tsp Fish sauce
  • 1 Sugar if it turns out spicier than desired
  • 1 Cilantro (optional)

    Soak the pho in water.

    De-vein the shrimp and make a cut down the spine (so that it will open up when cooked).

    Chop the green onions or scallions, red onion, and straw mushrooms.

    Make the soup with the ingredients listed under the , add the seasonings, then add the pho and chopped ingredients.
