- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 3/4 c. warm milk
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 medium eggs, well beaten
- 2 tsp. salt
- 5 to 5 1/2 c. sifted flour
Directions

1Add yeast to water, let stand a few minutes.

2Stir to dissolve.

3Combine milk, butter and sugar.

4Cool to lukewarm.

5Add eggs, salt and 2 cups flour; beat thoroughly.

6Stir in yeast. Blend in remaining flour.

7Beat 5 minutes.

8Do not knead.

9Brush with butter.
-
10Cover with cloth and let rise until double in size, about 1 hour.

11Form bits of dough into balls 1-inch in size. Place in greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

12Brush with butter.

13Let rise until double in size.

14Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 2 dozen.
