  • 5 c. flour
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 15 oz. box raisin bran cereal
  • 4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 5 tsp. soda
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 qt. buttermilk
  • 1 17 oz. can fruit cocktail, drained
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • raisins, optional

Directions

    Mix first 6 ingredients by hand. Add eggs and milk. Fold in fruit cocktail and oil. Bake as needed in well greased or paper-lined muffin tin. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes. Let batter stand at least 24 hours before baking first batch. Batter may be refrigerated up to 6 weeks.
