- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3 minced cloves garlic
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper or 1/2 dried red chile
- 1 lb. medium peeled and deveined shrimp
- sprinkle of salt
- 2 Tbsp. dry white wine
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley
Directions

1In a large nonstick skillet over high heat, stir

2olive oil, cloves of garlic, bay leaf and crushed red pepper until garlic just begins to color, about 30 seconds.

3Add shrimp.

4Season with salt.

5Stir until shrimp turns pink, 2 to 3 minutes.

6Stir in dry white wine and fresh lemon juice.

7Adjust seasonings; transfer to a platter and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

8Serve immediately. Can be an appetizer or main dish.
