  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 minced cloves garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper or 1/2 dried red chile
  • 1 lb. medium peeled and deveined shrimp
  • sprinkle of salt
  • 2 Tbsp. dry white wine
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley

    In a large nonstick skillet over high heat, stir

    olive oil, cloves of garlic, bay leaf and crushed red pepper until garlic just begins to color, about 30 seconds.

    Add shrimp.

    Season with salt.

    Stir until shrimp turns pink, 2 to 3 minutes.

    Stir in dry white wine and fresh lemon juice.

    Adjust seasonings; transfer to a platter and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
