  • 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 6 medium tomatoes
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Toss together crumbs, cheese, butter and mustard.

    Turn tomatoes, stem end down, and cut tomatoes into 5 slices, cutting to (but not through) the base.

    Spread apart slightly and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

    Spoon 2 tablespoons crumb mixture between each slice.
