- 2 to 4 ears of corn
- 1/4 lb. margarine
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Cut kernels from corn, scraping the cob.

2Melt margarine in a heavy skillet and saute corn lightly (about 10 minutes).

3Combine a little of the milk with flour and stir into the corn.

4Add other ingredients and remaining milk; simmer, covered, over low heat for 20 minutes.

5Stir often to keep from scorching.
