- 1 1/4 c. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Mix baking soda, salt and cornmeal.

2Gradually add well beaten eggs and buttermilk.

3Heat skillet and grease bottom and sides of skillet with butter.

4Pour mixture into heated skillet and place on middle shelf of 400° oven; bake 20 minutes until golden brown.
