  • 2 c. cornmeal
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Mix all ingredients in large bowl.

    Grease 2 cast-iron skillets.

    Pour 1/2 mixture into each skillet.

    Bake in 400° oven for 50 minutes, until golden brown.

    Makes two cornbreads.
