  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 (1 pt. 2 oz.) can tomato juice
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 1/2 to 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. instant minced onion
  • 1 (7 oz.) pkg. spaghetti

Directions

    In large skillet, break up ground beef.

    Add tomato paste, tomato juice, water, chili powder, garlic salt, salt, sugar, oregano and minced onion.

    Cover and bring to boil.

    Simmer 30 minutes, stir occasionally.

    Add spaghetti; stir to separate strands.

    Cover and simmer 30 minutes or until spaghetti is tender.

    Stir frequently.
