- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. white vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 8 pieces celery, diced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 2 Tbsp. celery seed
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard or 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Directions

1Let cabbage and salt stand 45 minutes to 2 hours.

2Squeeze out all the water.

3Boil sugar, white vinegar and water.

4Add celery, green pepper, celery seed and dry mustard or mustard seed to cabbage.

5Pour hot vinegar over slaw while hot.

6Keeps about a month or may be frozen.
