- 2 egg whites
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 6 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Beat egg whites at high until frothy; add salt.

3Continue to beat.

4Add sugar, some at a time, beating all the while.

5Beat until stiff.

6Add vanilla, still beating. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.

7Grease cookie sheet, even if Teflon.

8Put batter on sheet using heaping teaspoonful.

9Put in oven.

10Turn it off.

11Take a nap while they are baking; read a good book.

12Just leave cookies alone for at least 3 hours.

13They freeze well and thaw quickly.
