- 6 lb. apples, washed, peeled and cored
- 3 to 4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook apples in crock-pot on high setting until soft, stirring occasionally.

2Add 3 to 4 cups sugar (depending on sweetness of apples), 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves. Cover; cook on high 8 to 10 hours.

3Remove cover during last half of cooking.

4Stir occasionally.

5Makes 11 1/2 pint jars.
