  • 2 lbs ground beef, browned, drained
  • 1 12 cups onions, chopped
  • 1 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained (any kind)
  • 2 (16 ounce) cans kidney beans, 1 light, 1 dark, undrained
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 dash cinnamon (optional)

    After ground beef is prepared and drained, add all other ingredients to crock pot and simmer for 7-10 hours.

    If too spicy, add a sprinkle of cinnamon.
