Smashed potatoes Recipe

  • 6-8 baby potatoes (new, purple and reds)
  • 4 Tblspn butter
  • 2-3 Tblspn chives

Directions

    Boil the potatoes in salted water until just fork tender, drain the water and remove the potatoes.
  2. 2
    Put the butter into the pot and melt it down, once butter is melted add the potatoes back into the pot.
  3. 3
    Using a laddel or a potato masher gently press down on the potatoes until they split open.
  4. 4
    Stir gently to coat them with the butter then add the chives, mixing once again to coat them.
  5. 5
    Serve with your favorite meal.
