  • 4 teaspoons All-purpose Flour
  • 1/8 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 3/4 cups Whole Milk
  • 6 ounces, weight Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Grated
  • 3 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Cubed
  • 30 ounces, weight Frozen Whole Kernel Corn, Thawed
  • 3 ounces, weight Ham, Diced

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter in a large saucepan. Whisk in flour and garlic powder. Cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly so that mixture doesn't burn. Add milk and continue to cook, stirring constantly, until mixture begins to thicken. Add cheeses and stir until melted. Add corn and ham and stir until combined. Pour mixture into a buttered 2-quart baking dish. Bake for 45 minutes.
