- 8 ears fresh/frozen corn
- 1/2 c onion
- 1/4 c chopped bell pepper
- 2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 c bacon drippings or canola oil
- 1 T sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 slices bacon
- Red pepper to taste
Directions

1Fry bacon and reserve drippings.

2Clean corn and cut lengthwise 1/4 inch from top; scrape corn with side of blade of knife to get corn milk.

3Mix all ingredients except grease; season and pour in hot grease/oil.

4Reduce fire to low.

5Cook 45 minutes, covered, and stirring occasionally. Add water if it starts to stick.
