  • 1 1/2 lb. chuck or round steak, cut in 1-inch strips
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 to 2 green peppers, diced
  • 1 lb. can stewed tomatoes
  • 2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen French-style beans
  • rice

Directions

    Put steak, flour, salt and pepper in crock-pot.

    Stir well. Layer the remaining ingredients in order.

    Do not stir while simmering in crock-pot.

    Cover and cook on high for 1 hour.

    Then low for 8 hours or on high for 5 hours.

    Stir together when ready to serve it over rice.
