- 3 1/2 c. oatmeal
- 1 c. raisins
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 2/3 c. melted margarine
- 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 c. honey or molasses
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Toast oats in a 9 x 13-inch pan in a 350° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

2Place toasted oats in a large bowl and add remaining ingredients.

3Mix well.

4Press firmly into a well-greased 11 x 16-inch pan.

5Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

6Cool and cut into squares.
