- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions

1Cream the first four ingredients.

2In a separate bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt.

4Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl.

5Shape dough into balls and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

6Bake at 400°F for 8-10 minutes.
