- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

1Preheat oven to

3Lightly grease 2 baking sheets.

4In a medium bowl, combine and cream the sugar, margarine, egg and vanilla.

5In a small bowl, combine and mix the flour, baking soda and cream of tartar.

6Blend the flour into creamed mixture.

7It will be very thick.

8Using hands, shape into balls.

9Roll each ball into a mixture of cinnamon and sugar and place on baking sheets.

10Work quickly and lightly to keep heat of your hands from making the dough sticky.

11Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
