- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon

1Heat oven to 400°.

5Blend flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.

7Shape dough in 1-inch balls. Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon.

8Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.

9Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Cookies puff up at first, then flatten out.
