  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix butter, shortening, sugar and eggs until creamy. Mix in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. 2
    Put 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon in bag. Roll cookies, shake in bag and bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
