  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)

Directions

    Cream the margarine and sugar.

    Add eggs and vanilla.

    Sift and add the dry ingredients and mix well.

    Roll into balls the size of a walnut.

    Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon.

    Place on ungreased baking sheet.

    Bake until lightly browned, but still soft at 375° for approximately 15 minutes.
