  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. sour milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. mixed glazed fruit
  • 1 c. white raisins

    Cream Crisco and sugar until real fluffy. Add other ingredients in order given. Beat egg whites until real fluffy, but not dry. Beat in last. Bake 1 hour in slow oven (325°) for 10 minutes. Before cake is done, glaze with white simple syrup and decorate with mixed glazed fruit.
