Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. unflavored gelatin
  • 4 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 3 pkg. Dream Whip
  • 1 angel food cake, break into small pieces

Directions

    Dissolve gelatin in cold water; add hot water.

    Add pineapple and juice, sugar, salt and lemon juice.

    Let stand overnight. Whip 2 packages Dream Whip and mix with gelatin mixture.

    Using a 12 x 8 x 2-inch glass salad dish, layer angel food pieces and gelatin mixture.

    Continue layers, finishing with cake.

    Ice with 1 package of Dream Whip.

    Decorate with cherries.

    Sprinkle with coconut (optional).
