Snowball Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. plain gelatin
  • 1 (20 oz.) crushed pineapple
  • 1 (14 to 20 oz.) angel food cake
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. water
  • coconut
  • 3 pkg. Dream Whip

Directions

    Dissolve gelatin in 4 tablespoons of water.

    Add 1 cup boiling water and cool.

    Add sugar, salt, pineapple and juice.

    Cool in refrigerator until partially set.

    Add 2 packages of Dream Whip (beaten stiff).

    Line a 4-quart size bowl with waxed paper.

    Break cake in small pieces to cover bottom of bowl.

    Layer with gelatin mixture, press into cake until all is used; refrigerate overnight. Turn into plate; remove waxed paper.

    Frost with 1 package of Dream Whip (not too stiff).

    Cover with coconut.
