- 3/4 c. margarine
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 3/4 c. raspberry jam
- 3 egg whites
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. flaked coconut (optional)
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.

2Blend in flour.

3Press mixture evenly into bottom of ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.

4Bake in a 350° oven for 12 minutes.

5Remove from oven and immediately spread on jam.

6Beat egg whites until foamy, add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time.

7Continue beating until stiff.

8Fold in coconut and half the walnuts, spread over jam.

9Sprinkle with remaining walnuts and return to oven for 20 minutes longer.

10Cool before cutting into squares.
