  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 stack saltines, crushed
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Combine sugar, margarine and evaporated milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil.

    Boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat.

    Add 1/2 cup peanut butter.
  5. 5
    Stir well until smooth. Add crushed saltines and vanilla.

    Mix well and drop from teaspoon onto wax paper and let cool.
