Soft Caramel Corn Recipe

  • Popped corn (not microwave)
  • 1 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
  • 2 sticks butter
  • Pecans

Directions

    Pop 1 c. of popcorn.

    Mix together sugar, syrup and butter.

    Boil 3 to 4 min, stirring constantly.

    Check by dropping some drops in glass of cool water.

    Ready if forms a soft ball.

    Pour over popcorn in large bowl and mix thoroughly.

    Add in pecans, if you like.

    NOTE: Don't overcook syrup or possibly it will harden too much.

    Better to underocook.

    Great snack.
