- 3/4 c. heavy cream
- 1 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. + 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. ginger
- 2 tsp. lemon rind
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Whip cream.

2Add remaining ingredients except flour.

3Stir 10 minutes.

4Add flour and stir until smooth.

5Cover and refrigerate overnight.

6May be rolled 1/4-inch and cut into shapes.

7Place on lightly greased cookie sheet.

8Brush with water before baking in 300° oven.

9Bake 8 to 12 minutes.

10Leave on cookie sheet to cool. Decorate if desired.
