  • 1 1/2 c. shortening
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1/2 c. molasses
  • 4 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoon soda
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoon ginger

Directions

    Cream shortening, sugar, and Large eggs.

    Add in molasses.

    Sift together flour, salt, soda, cinnamon, and ginger; add in to first mix.

    Roll in balls and shake in bag of sugar.

    Place on cookie sheet.

    Bake at 275 degrees for 15 min.
