- 4 to 4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. salt
- 2 qt. boiling water
- 1 slightly beaten egg white
- coarse salt or sesame seed
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2In a mixer bowl, combine 2 cups of the flour and the yeast.

3In a saucepan, heat milk, sugar, oil and 1 1/2 teaspoon salt just until warm; stir constantly.

4Add to flour mixture.

5Beat at low speed of electric mixer for 1/2 minute, scraping bowl.

6Beat 3 minutes at high speed.

7Stir in as much of the remaining flour as you can mix in with a spoon.
