  • 1/2 c. plain meal
  • 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • salt

Directions

    Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

    Heat lightly greased 6-inch skillet.

    Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter into skillet for each shell.

    Lift and tilt skillet to spread batter.

    Brown on one side, flip and brown other side.

    Keep warm until served.

    Serve with your favorite taco ingredients and sauce.

    Makes 10 to 12 shells.
