- 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour (sift before measuring)
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. peanut oil
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
- peanut oil for frying
- confectioners sugar
Directions

1Sift flour, baking powder and salt into medium bowl.

2Make well in center of ingredients.

3Add 1 tablespoon peanut oil and water; mix well with a fork to form a soft, smooth dough.

4Divide into 4 portions.

5Knead each part 4 or 5 times, until smooth. Form each part into a ball.

6Flatten with palm of hand.
