Sour Cream Apple Pie

- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups tart apples, chopped & peeled
- 1 unbaked pie shell (9 inches)
- 14 cup brown sugar, packed
- 3 tablespoons butter, cold
Directions

1In a large bowl, beat eggs.

2Add sour cream.

3Stir in sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, vanilla and salt; mix well.

4Gently stir in apples.

5Pour into pie shell.

6Bake at 375 for 15 minutes.

7Meanwhile, combine brown sugar and remaining flour; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.

8Sprinkle over top of pie.

9Bake 20 to 25 minutes longer or until filling is set.

10Cool completely on a wire rack.

11Serve or cover and refrigerate.
