  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda (add to sour cream)
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (add to flour)
  • 1/4 tsp. baking powder (add to flour)
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.

    Add flour and sour cream alternately, then vanilla.
