  • 1 c. self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. cream-style corn
  • 1/2 c. corn oil
  • 1 large egg

Directions

    Pour 1/4 cup of the corn oil into baking dish and warm in preheated 450° oven.

    Mix remaining ingredients, including the remaining 1/4 cup corn oil.

    Pour mixture into heated baking dish. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 400° until brown, approximately 40 minutes.
