- 1/2 lb. butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 c. sour cream
- 3 c. plain flour
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Separate eggs.

2Beat egg whites until stiff.

3Cream butter, sugar, vanilla and egg yolks.

4Sift together in another bowl all dry ingredients.

5To main mixture add alternately the sour cream and dry ingredients.

6Mix very well.

7Loosely fold in beaten egg whites.

8Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.

9Done when toothpick in center is clean.
