- 1 c. (carton) sour cream
- 3 c. cake flour
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 2/3 tsp. almond extract
- 3 c. sugar (save one to beat with egg whites)
- 6 eggs, separated
- 2 sticks oleo or butter
Directions

1Cream 2 cups sugar with butter.

2Add beaten egg yolks.

3Mix flavoring and soda with sour cream and add alternately with dry ingredients and the creamed mixture.

4Beat egg whites with remaining cup of sugar and fold into batter.

5Bake in preheated 300° oven for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
