Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. Sourdough Starter
- 3/4 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
- 1 packet yeast
- 5 to 6 c. unsifted flour
Directions

1Heat milk, water, sugar, salt and margarine.

2Cool to lukewarm; sprinkle in yeast.

3Beat until smooth the milk mixture, starter and 2 1/2 cups flour.

4Stir in enough additional flour to make a stiff dough.

5Knead 8 to 10 minutes.

6Place in greased bowl; turn once to grease top.

7Cover; let rise until double about 1 hour.

8Punch down dough; divide into 3 equal pieces.

9Form each into a smooth ball.
