- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. instant potatoes
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. warm water
- 3 Tbsp. instant potatoes
Directions

1Mix these ingredients together.

2When they are well blended, mix with starter.

3Let mixture stand, out of refrigerator, lightly covered all day.

4(Mixture will bubble.)

5At the end of the day, take out 1 cup of starter to use in making bread.

6Return other to refrigerator.

7Keep covered.

8Keep starter in refrigerator for 3 to 5 days and feed again.

9Starter must be fed every 3 to 5 days. Always leave 1 cup of starter.

10If you do not need to bake more bread after feeding starter, take 1 cup and give to a friend.
