- 1 pt. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Mix ingredients in a large bowl.

2Knead 12 to 15 minutes until smooth and satiny.

3Place in greased bowl.

4Cover with cloth.

5Let rise until double in bulk, 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

6Push down, knead briefly, let rest 10 minutes.

7Shape into 2 round loaves.

8Place loaves on greased baking sheet.

9Let rise until double in bulk. Bake in 375° oven for 40 to 50 minutes until brown and loaves sound hollow.

10Makes 2 loaves.
