  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 3 Tbsp. instant potatoes
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. warm water
  • 6 c. bread flour (for wheat bread, use 3 c. bread flour and 4 c. whole wheat flour)

    Place starter in a large bowl and add these ingredients.

    Make into stiff batter.

    Rub with oil.

    Cover with plastic wrap and leave on counter overnight to rise until doubled.
